Sample 1: 4.5L Wireless Cat Water Fountain With LED Light

We first did some basic tests for FT-01 Specification in the lab as follows.

• Water Shortage Response: No reminder. But there is a 300ml emergency water storage to support one-day drinking. The 300ml bowl are measured by measuring cylinder.
• Material Safety: ABS and 304 Stainless Steel. We test it by XRF. The material is good and safe.
• Water Volume Real-time Monitor: Visual checking through transparent tank. Not so smart.
• Fault Alerts: The filter-replacing light will be on if the filters are blocked or dirty,
• Easy Control: Yes. Just one button to switch different drinking models.
• Operation noise: As the sound level meter shows, its working noise is 33 dB.
• Disassembly and Washing Difficulty: Not bad. Just slightly lift the pump pillar. Then the whole device was separated.
• Anti-overflow: There are sink holes near the bowl to prevent overflow.
• Auto power-off protection: This function mainly prevents heating water away drying and burning. So we burned the a few water in the tank for a while. And, the device can switch off automatically when a few water was dried. Meanwhile, we also tested the current at this time. The multimeter shows no current. So it is Safety.
• Anti-slip and anti-shifting: With its empty tank, we tried hard to push it on a bumpy wooden board, but failed to shift. It is stable enough to handle the daily push of pets.

We also tested it with Handsome, a member of furrry family.

In short, we like its cost performance. Yet, it is not so intelligent and can’t not remote control.

Sample 2: 2L Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain

Basic tests were made for FT-02 Specification in the lab as follows.

• Water Shortage Response: No reminder, too. Only a 120ml emergency water storage can support half-day drinking. And 120ml capacity is well measured by our cylinder.
• Material Safety: XRF shows the quality of stainless reaches 304 level.
• Water Volume Real-time Monitor: The tank is not transparent, but it offers a transparent faucet containing a water level indicating column. It is not difficult to check, since the column is in red.
• Fault Alerts: Not available.
• Easy Control: Auto turn on when the cat are coming. As our testing, the sensor worked well.
• Operation noise: As the sound level meter shows, its working noise is 41 dB. Loud.
• Disassembly and Washing Difficulty: Moderate. In particular, the faucet is not convenient for separating and washing.
• Anti-overflow: Yes, there is water cyclic design.
• Auto power-off protection: Yes. The fountain can physically resist dry burning.
• Anti-slip and anti-shifting: OK. Just anti-slip pat shapes in round.

And then, we made a review with our cat as follows.

In our opinion, its faucet is very nice to attract cat, but the washing is not very convenient.

Sample 3: 2.2L Kitty Water Fountain

The following review of  FT-03 Specification was made in our lab.

• Water Shortage Response: No reminder, too. The bowl is 160ml for emergency water storage, measuring by our cylinder. The semitransparent tank has a min scale mark, but it is not obvious to see the water level inside.
• Material Safety: PC material. Not food grade.
• Water Quality Monitoring: Not available
• Fault Alerts: Not available.
• Easy Control: Yes. It can switch on when the cat was coming with the trigger of the sensor.
• Operation noise: The level meter shows its working noise is 38 dB. Not bad.
• Disassembly and Washing Difficulty: Medium, because the faucet is not convenient for separating and washing.
• Auto power-off protection: Yes. The fountain can physically resist dry burning.

Anti-slip and anti-shifting: Very nice slip-resistant pads.

All in all, the best advantage of this product is its pretty price. However, it is not convenient for us to check the water volume. We have to see through the transparent bowl on the top.

Sample 4: 2L Cat Water Fountain

• Water Shortage Response: The red light in the front of the device would be turned on for reminding. By the way, its tank body was totally transparent for water volume observation.
• Material Safety: As the data shown by XRF, the surface coated is 304 stainless steel, but the internal layers of the bowl is not made of 304. But it is OK for safety because the coating is not easy to fall off.
• Water Quality Monitoring: Not available
• Fault Alerts: There is battery indicator lights to remind of low battery.
• Easy Control: Yes. It can switch on when the cat is coming with the trigger of sensors. As our measuring, when the cat is 1.5 meters and about 260° in front of the sensor, the device started working.
• Operation noise: The level meter shows its working noise is 38 dB. Not bad.
• Disassembly and Washing Difficulty: Medium, because the faucet is not convenient for separating and washing.
• Anti-overflow: Yes. There are sink holes in the bowl.
• Auto power-off protection: Yes. Automatic power-off was well worked when we burned the device with little water. Further, there is water-electricity separation design to ensure safety. These are great.
• Anti-slip and anti-shifting: Good slip-resistant pads shaped in four little circle.

In conclusion, we like the attached sensor, transparent faucet, water volume indicating light and power indicator of this device. The bowl are coated by 304 stainless steel. Though price are not pretty, we think it is reasonable.

Sample 5: 2.5L Stainless Steel Cat Drinking Fountain

• Water Shortage Response: The bowl on the top can store water for emergency use. We measure its capacity by cylinder. 193ml water can be contained in the bowl. Meanwhile, there is a buoy column in the front of the tank to show the water level. It is in red so users can see it well.
• Material Safety: Very safe. Our XRF shows the whole material of the tank and bowl is 304 stainless steel, the perfect food-grade material.
• Fault Alerts: Not available
• Easy Control: Yes. It can automatically switch on when the cat was coming with the trigger of the sensor. As our measuring, when the cat is 1.85 meters surrounding the sensor, the device started working.
• Operation noise: Very quiet noise. Our decibel meter showed 25dB during its working.
• Disassembly and Washing Difficulty: Medium. Before washing, we have to disconnect the sensor, which is not attached on the device. Also, the pump is not integrated.
• Anti-overflow: Yes. There are sink holes in the bowl.
• Anti-slip and anti-shifting: OK.
